Chinook
Tackle-Buddy
Reviewed by Terry Lawton
When I first saw the Chinook Tackle-Buddy I thought that it was a hippy
bead necklace. I suppose now that flares are back in fashion - in some
areas at least - it makes sense to revive hippy necklaces, writes Terry
Lawton.
The Chinook Tackle-Buddy has a nice comfy thin neoprene neck band and
four-equally-spaced swivel spring clips to which items of equipment, tools
etc can be attached. The beads are used to keep the clips apart.
The Tackle-Buddy is a good way to keep to hand any pieces of equipment
that can be attached to it with the clips, items such as leader snips,
forceps and even certain fly boxes that have an attachment ring. I can
see it being very useful for anyone who likes to travel light when fishing
or for that short visit to the river or lake. It could also be the answer
for keeping equipment accessible to anglers with hand or arm mobility
problems or difficulty with unzipping pockets on waistcoats.
