Steve Thornton is well known for his realistic flytying demonstrations at exhibitions and symposiums around the world.

This is his first book on flytying and is beautifully written and photographed. Listen to the River is a book that illustrates how to tie realistic patterns that ‘match the hatch’ from freestone streams in England, Scotland and Wales. Each chapter is devoted to a different river where Steve fishes and matches the hatch. He then illustrates how to tie the pattern with very high quality photography and easy instructions.

All these patterns are original and have been designed with many new flytying techniques by Steve Thornton.
